9 March 2010: Antiviral Collection Point closures.

Please note that from Monday, 8th March 2010 antiviral medication will only be available (please ask a flu friend to collect it) from:

Healthfront Pharmacy, 44 Haymarket Street, Bury, BL9 0AY - Open Monday - Saturday 07:00 – 23:00, Sunday 13:45 – 22:00

BARDOC will continue to supply antiviral solution for children under one year of age and antiviral medication if required when Healthfront Pharmacy is closed. If you think you may have symptoms of seasonal influenza or swine flu, please help to reduce the spread of infection by staying at home and contacting your GP by telephone.

The symptoms of swine flu are a fever or a high temperature (over 38ºC/100.4ºF) and two of the following symptoms: unusual tiredness, headache, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath or cough, loss of appetite, aching muscles, diarrhoea or vomiting.
